Soil Association – Planning for Change: Whole Farm Plans on Organic Farms

From 15th May 2025, all farmers and crofters claiming Basic Payments (BPS) must complete at least two of the five audits which form the Whole Farm Plan. Organic farmers and crofters will automatically qualify, as existing organic crop and livestock management plans will be equivalent to the Integrated Pest Management Plan and Animal Health and Welfare Plans, respectively.

Join the Soil Association for an interactive webinar exploring what Whole Farm Plans are, an outline of the new requirements, and how organic crop and livestock management plans help organic farmers to deliver high animal welfare and embed nature-based solutions over pesticide use.

Soil Association Certification Officer Marc Dunn will explore what is involved in producing both plans, and how elements of each are linked to the other key areas – biodiversity, carbon, and soil – of a Whole Farm Plan.
