Integrating Trees Network Event

Book event

Walking and Talking trees with Michael Foxley of Achaphubial, Ardgour, Fort William,  Friday 30th September 10.15am – 1.15pm

As part of Scotland’s Climate Week 2022, Michael Foxley will introduce us to No 2 Croft where, over several years, he has planted a wide range of native trees on his hill ground, for shelter and biodiversity. We’ll discuss Michael’s initial thought process, why he decided to plant trees and his objectives for doing so. You’ll also hear first-hand about the process and the challenges and benefits of integrating trees on the croft. We will talk about how trees can not only help to tackle climate change but also make your business resilient to the changing climate. We will also have speakers from Scottish Forestry and Woodland Trust joining us to discuss funding and first steps to woodland creation. Book your free place here.  Please come along and bring your questions. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Numbers are limited so booking is essential.
