Farm Wildlife Walks – Aberdeen
Farming with nature at Tulloch Farm
(Please see What3Words for exact location)
Join us for a Farm Wildlife Walk at Tulloch Farm on SRUC’s Craibstone Estate on Thursday 22nd August with a BBQ supper at the end.
The Farm Advisory Service had been running Farm Wildlife Walks across the country for the past two years and these provide an opportunity to learn more about the habitats that we have on our farms and how best they can be managed to support wildlife.
With farm support set to have a much greater emphasis on environmental outcomes from 2026 onwards and with Biodiversity audits set to become a mandatory part of the Whole Farm Plan which will be a condition of Basic Payment from next year onwards, this informal event will provide an ideal opportunity to prepare for these upcoming changes.
The meeting starts at 5pm and will conclude with burgers and refreshments, supplied by Country Flavours of Alford. The event is free but booking is essential to ensure sufficient catering. Please let us know if you are planning to attend and if you have any special dietary requirements as soon as possible.
