Farm Wildlife Walks – Stranraer
Two years ago the Farm Advisory Service launched the Farm Wildlife Walks initiative, an attempt to promote grass-roots conversations around nature conservation and the positive impacts of nature-friendly farming practices.
Join us at Killantringan Farm near Portpatrick which is being farmed regeneratively by the farm manager and operates beef and sheep enterprises in a coastal landscape rich in habitats. We’ll discuss drystone dykes, grassland species, woodlands and scrublands and how these linked habitats can benefit the local flora and fauna.
Please note this is an outdoor event followed by lunch at a neighbouring venue.
